Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress who is well-known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions, before becoming huge in the national theater scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina that same year. Louise began her journey into Hollywood acting as Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim as well as Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. During this time she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and developed her association with Lee Strasberg as his student. She signed on with CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work with ease with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles contrasted to her perception of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's made a name as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. She was born on August 28, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, three, her family relocated her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of throughout her early years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision to play the lead.
