Jhene Aiko, a.k.a Jhene is an American R&B artist and singer. Her most well-known work is her mixtape Sailing Souls (s) that was made available through her website in the year 2011. It it became a smash. Her music career began when she was a teenager in the R&B group B2K. The marketing strategy she used was to present her as "cousin of B2K's rapper Lil Fizz". Her musical hits include Sail Out The Worst Uh Huh and Why I love You. Her debut came as a backing singer in 2002, contributing vocals for the song Cherry Pie on the soundtrack of The Master of Disguise. Her former boyfriend ORyans' debut music video"Take It Slow, featured her. She works primarily with R&B Hip-Hop or Rap. The artist gained a lot of attention with the single 3:16AM which was released by the well-known publishing house A&R. The track is available as a digital download on iTunes. Her fame in the world was boosted when she joined Canadian rapper Drake and was a part of Drake's album "Nothing is the The Same". The Worst was the top-selling single in US Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop-Airplay in May 2014. The song also came in at the 11th spot at the top of Hot R&B/Hip-Hop. In 2015, she was awarded three Grammy Awards.
