Lita Rossana Ford (also known as Lita Ford) is an British born American guitar vocalist who played the lead in The Runaways a female hard rock group in the 1970s. The group was admired for their rebellious lyrics and punkish design. The band was never able to The Runaways to become popular in America, however, they enjoyed a great deal of acclaim in other nations, especially Japan. Ford had a long and prosperous career as a solo musician after the group broke up together in 1979. She took vocal lessons and then released her debut solo album , 'Out for Blood' and 'Dancin' On the Edge. But her fame was only short-lived and she was absent from the music industry for a few years. The release of Black in 1995 was followed by a fifteen year wait for 'Wicked wonderland. The year was 2016, and her latest album'Time Capsule' was made available. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the award of a Certified Guitar Legend.
